KING

This week we will praise God as the King of glory.

Will you join me this week in reflecting on exactly what it means to you that He is King of kings?

For me, I believe that as my King, He has absolute and ultimate authority over me and my life.

But if I’m totally honest, I don’t live as if I truly believe that. If I did, I’d be more consistent in choosing His ways above my ways. I would desire to please Him in all things and not only when I feel like it. I’d live my best life subservient to Him and obeying Him without question. I would treat Him as King of kings and Lord of lords and allow Him absolute rule over my life.

Sunday Supplication

God, my King of kings, this week I praise You as the King who is worthy of ultimate and absolute authority over my life. If I’m tempted to stray from Your perfect plan for me by caving into temptation, remind me that as my King, You always desire what is best for me. Help me to live in obedience to You unswervingly this week. AMEN! SO BE IT!
