DELIVERER

Throughout the Bible, we find God delivering His people in many different ways.

He delivered Noah and his family from the flood.

He delivered the Israelites from bondage in Egypt.

He constantly delivered David from physical harm and attacks from his enemies.

He delivered Israel and Judah from captivity in Babylon and Assyria.

He delivered Peter from prison as the church prayed.

He delivered Paul from deadly peril time and time again. (2 Corinthians 1:8-11)

But His greatest act of deliverance happened when Jesus willingly went to the cross and gave His life for you and me.

He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.”

Romans 4:25

Do you need a deliverer  today? The truth is that we don’t need Him to deliver us for just one day, we need Him to be our deliverer every single day. Join me as we praise Him this week as our Deliverer.

Wednesday Wisdom

May my cry come before you, LORD; give me understanding according to your word. May my supplication come before you; deliver me according to your promise. May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me your decrees. May my tongue sing of your word, for all your commands are righteous. May your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts. I long for your salvation, LORD, and your law gives me delight. Let me live that I may praise you, and may your laws sustain me.
Psalm 119:169-175

Thursday Truth
